Information collected and its sources

We collect personal information from you directly through your quote request. With your authorization, we may also collect information from consumer reporting agencies and claims databases used for insurance quoting.

• From you: contact details, property details, occupancy and use, and insurance history.
• From consumer reports and claims history (CLUE): prior claims and related underwriting information.
• From public and address-validation sources: address normalization and county.

How the information is used

We use your information to evaluate your request, search admitted and surplus lines markets, prepare quotes, and communicate with you. Surplus lines coverage, when offered, is placed through licensed surplus lines professionals, and any surplus lines insurer involved is not admitted in California; you receive a separate statutory disclosure before anything is finalized.

Disclosure of information

We may disclose information, without additional authorization where the law allows, to the insurance markets and wholesalers involved in your request, to service providers acting on our behalf, and as required to comply with the law. We do not sell your personal information.
